The Works of Christopher Marlowe

Tamburlaine Part 2

Act: 1 Scene: 1
Besides, king Sigismond hath brought from Christendome,
More then his Camp of stout Hungarians,
Sclavonians, Almans, Rutters, Muffes, and Danes,
That with the Holbard, Lance, and murthering Axe,
Will hazard that we might with surety hold.

Act: 2 Scene: 2
Me thinks I see how glad the christian King
Is made, for joy of your admitted truce:
That could not but before be terrified:
With unacquainted power of our hoste.

Act: 2 Scene: 3
I will my Lord.
