The Works of Christopher Marlowe

Dr. Faustus (B Text)

Act: 5 Scene: 1
Too simple is my wit to tell her worth,
Whom all the world admires for majesty.

Act: 5 Scene: 2
He is not well with being over solitary.
Tis but a surfeit sir; fear nothing.
God will strengthen me; I will stay with Faustus.

Act: 5 Scene: 3
The devils whom Faustus served have torn him thus;
For 'twixt the hours of twelve and one, me thought
I heard him shriek and call aloud for help,
At which self time the house seemed all on fire
With dreadful horror of these damned fiends.
