The Works of Christopher Marlowe

Dr. Faustus (B Text)

Act: 5 Scene: 2
Now worthy Faustus, me thinks your looks are changed.
O my dearFaustus, what imports this fear?
Who, Faustus?
O, God forbid.
Why did not Faustus tell us of this before, that divines
might have prayed for thee?
Tempt not God, sweet friend, but let us into the next
room, and pray for him.
Faustus, farewell. Exeunt Scholars.
